Homeowners find themselves deep into ripped up wallpaper, ceramic tiles, and water-damaged flooring. But there’s no doubt in my mind that any determined homeowner can figure it all out.
One of our bathrooms was pretty cruddy and needed some fixing-upping. Over the weekend we rented a steamer and stripped off the wall paper. Today we bought some tiles to replace the paper with. But then somehow he discovered water damage on the floor… It seems like one thing always seems to lead to another.
In the long run it’ll all be worth it, but right now it just seems overwhelming. We’ve got to get the bathroom fixed up, and the built-in microwave replaced, and the entire house painted.
Often damage is not easily seen, it isn’t until you start a small project that you find a present in the form of mold or water damage lurking in the background for you to fix.
