FEMA Fights Lawsuit Involving Moldy Trailers
The Wall Street Journal Reported today that lawyers representing the Federal Emergency Management Agency are aggressively seeking dismissal of charges against FEMA stemming from lawsuits filed on behalf of Gulf Coast hurricane victims who claim they were exposed to dangerous fumes and toxic mold while living in government issued trailers.
On Wednesday, U.S District Judge Kurt Engelhardlt is scheduled to hear arguments from FEMA requesting removal as a defendant in multiple cases filed after Katrina & Rita devastated the coastline in 2005.
